Daisy Wedding Invitations
Inviting Children to Your Wedding
Do you plan to invite children to be guests at your wedding? If so, you should either write out their names when addressing your invitation envelopes or you should simply write "and family" on the envelope. For example, you could write either:
Mr. and Mrs. John Doe, Jane and James
Or
Mr. and Mrs. John Doe and Family
If the children you are inviting are 16 or older, on the other hand, you should send them their own personal wedding invitations rather than including them with the family invite. If you wish to invite children to the reception but not to the actual ceremony, you can make this clarification on your response card or at the bottom of the actual invitation. This way, there will be no confusion regarding whether or not you are hosting an adults only wedding and reception.
