Traditionally, invitations should be addressed by hand. Although this may take longer to do, it is considered proper etiquette. If you do not have the time to do this yourself or if your handwriting is not good enough, you can ask or hire someone with good handwriting to do this for you. You might even want to consider contacting a calligrapher.
